Minneapolis Suspension Lamp

The Minneapolis Suspension Lamp has been created by Friis & Moltke for the brand Frandsen. Marketed by a Danish label, this lamp takes its inspiration from the American Midwest. As with other lights in the Minneapolis collection, it was originally commissioned to illuminate a major conference centre in the city of the same name. It has now been brought back to delight homeowners around the world.

The Minneapolis Suspension Lamp has an extremely simple form. The diffuser is made from steel and consists of a slender cone with a cylindrical canopy. The cone shape allows light to escape across a relatively wide area, directing a precise beam of light that will be ideal for smaller dining tables or studies. Various colours are available, enabling users to assemble a Minneapolis collection for larger rooms.

The Minneapolis Suspension Lamp hangs from a 300cm height-adjustable fabric cable which is included with the product. The luminaire measures 27.5cm wide, while the lamp is 14cm tall and the ceiling canopy is just 2cm wide and so is pleasantly discreet. The bulb with a GU10 socket can be ordered under accessories.
