Product description

The Lumiere XXS Replacement Shade was designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for the Italian lighting label Foscarini and will be a handy item for any fans of Dordoni's popular Lumiere range of lamps.

The Lumiere range is one of the Italian designer's signature achievements. First introduced in 1990, the Lumiere collection harks back to 1950s and 60s table lamp designs, but with a contemporary twist. Dordoni chose to replicate the rich appearance of blown-glass diffusers and to accompany these shades with slender aluminium frames, creating a lovely contrast. His lamps also created a warm, well-diffused level of light, which made them an instant classic among businesspeople and students alike.

The Lumiere XXS Replacement Shade is intended to allow fans of the collection to extend the life of their favourite products. As with all of the shades in this Foscarini collection, it has been created from high-quality coloured blown glass. It is 15cm tall and 26cm in diameter, so has the perfect dimensions for use as a practical desk lamp.

Ideal if your treasured Lumiere lamp has developed a crack, or you just want to freshen up its appearance.
