The Lumiere XXS Ceiling Lamp was designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for contemporary lighting manufacturer Foscarini.
Foscarini was founded in 1978 on the Island of Murano, Italy. The company made its name by using the traditional glass blowing techniques in their designs. They then expanded their repertoire of materials and continued to garner a worldwide acclaim by producing forward-thinking yet simple lighting solutions. Milan-born designer Rodolfo Dordoni is an acclaimed architect and designer who has worked with a range famed furniture houses and as well designed both private and commercial residences.
The Lumiere XXS Ceiling Lamp is a tasteful lighting solution that is suitable for all manner of spaces, and is certain to fit in well with any number of décors. It is a discreet piece has dimensions of 10 x 25 cm, so it will not be too imposing, yet it is attractive enough to draw the eye of any visitor. Continuing Foscarini's, and Murano's, tradition, the Lumiere XXS Ceiling Lamp has been exquisitely constructed from hand blown glass and steel, giving it both strength and elegance.
