Product description

The Skynest LED Suspension Lamp has been created by Marcel Wanders for the brand Flos. It is classified as a Sustainable Choice product. This is because at least half of the materials used to make it are recycled and all of them can be recycled at the end of the life of the lamp.

The Skynest LED Suspension Lamp has a dome-shaped shade. It is made of recycled polyester fashioned into thin mesh. It is two-toned and is interwoven to form a dome shape. An aluminium ring holds the shape using a simple snap-and-fit mechanism. No glue is used so parts can be removed and replaced as necessary and recycled when the lamp is no longer required. Micro-connectors are located at the top of the shade. It is white inside to allow optimised light emission from the LED modules. Another feature of this outstanding lamp is an inbuilt balancing system on top of the shade. It keeps the lamp perfectly balanced.

The Skynest LED Suspension Lamp has a height of 21.3cm and a diameter of 90.4cm. Its cable has a length of 270cm and its diffuser has a diameter of 90.4cm. It comes in bright and neutral colours that either brighten up or tone down the look of a space.
