Nebula Suspension Lamp

The Nebula Suspension Lamp was designed by Loris Laarmann for leading Italian lighting design firm Flos.

Laarmann is a Dutch designer who graduated cum laude from the Eindhoven Design Academy in 2003. He first came to prominence with a Reinventing Functionality project, which focused on taking a fresh look at familiar objects. He continues to create innovative and challenging pieces and his work has been included in the permanent collections of leading design museums like the Pompidou Centre, MoMA and the V&A. In 2011 the Wall Street Journal named Laarman as an Innovator of the Year.

The Nebula Suspension Lamp Laarmann has designed for Flos is typical of his striking design approach.
