The Camouflage LED Outdoor Lamp was designed by Piero Lissoni for the lighting label Flos.
Launched in 1960, Flos has blossomed into a design leader in the lighting market, creating innovative lights for both indoor and outdoor use. Its designs always bring a surprising twist to artificial lighting. Winner of the Compasso d'Oro, Italian-born Piero Lissoni is highly regarded for his architectural and interior design work. He founded the Milan-based Lissoni Associati studio in 1986 with colleague Nicoletta Canesi.
The name Camouflage LED Outdoor Lamp is truly reflective of this contemporary light. When switched off, its design ensures that it disappears chameleon-like into its surroundings. When turned on, it emits a soft diffusion of indirect light, reminiscent of a solar eclipse. The lamp is ideal for safely illuminating entranceways and walkways. The lamp's housing is mounted on an aluminium disc, while the diffuser is made from transparent polycarbonate finished with layers of epoxy and polyester powders. This creates its unique appearance while ensuring resistance to UV rays and the elements. The Camouflage LED Outdoor Lamp is 4.2cm in depth and 24cm in diameter.
