The Grande Arche Garden Bench was designed by Robby Cantarutti and Francesca Cantarutti for the brand Fast.

The Italian outdoor furniture company Fast was founded in 1995 in the Italian town of Valle Sabbia, which sits at the foot of the Alps. Drawing on the region's long history of iron-working, Fast specialises in using aluminium to create contemporary outdoor furniture that always takes inspiration from the natural beauty of the surrounding Alpine region.

Sturdily constructed from aluminium and finished with eye-catching and practical lacquer, the Grande Arche Garden Bench is attractive without being showy, and practical without being workaday. It is the ideal piece to provide seating on a terrace or courtyard of almost any size, and has the additional benefit of being easy to keep clean. Measuring 180cm in length, it can seat several people at once, and its width of 38cm and seat height of 45cm ensure that this bench is a comfortable place on which to spend time enjoying the outdoors. However, the subtle design of this piece makes it one that can work equally well in a kitchen, conservatory or other room in the home.
