The Soft Egg Garden Armchair was designed by Philippe Starck for Driade.

The world-renowned French designer created this piece in 2002, and it stands as a testament to his ability to create modern, timeless pieces of furniture. With a mind full of ideas and a catalogue full of eclectic designs from kitchen tools to super yachts, Starck is a force to be reckoned with. For this piece, he worked with Driade, the Italian furniture brand that aims to create unique, joyful products that blend cultures and always remain fresh.

The Soft Egg Garden Armchair takes inspiration from the 50's and brings it bang up to date with an ergonomic flow - that also means comfort. The initial simple elegant appearance of the chair gives way to interesting curves and small details which make it unique. Suitable for use indoors or outdoors, the chairs are hard-wearing and have side vents to expel rainwater. They are also stackable, making them very versatile and easy to move from one area to another. The chair is constructed from a single piece of polypropylene plastic which is very durable. The Soft Egg Garden Armchair is 74cm high, 61cm wide and 58cm deep.
