The Mañana Floor Lamp was designed by Marie-Louise Gustafsson for the Design House Stockholm.
Like a life-sized matchstick man leaning against the wall - the Mañana Floor Lamp! When the designer once drew a stick-figure into her sketch book she had the ingenious idea for this design. Here you see the beautiful result in the shape of the Mañana Floor Lamp, that receives its stability simply by casually leaning against the wall.
Why Marie-Louise Gustafsson gave this floor lamp the Spanish name Mañana (English: "tomorrow") is explained by the nonchalant posture of the lamp, a relaxed take-it-easy-attitude towards life, laid back, cool and easy!
The Mañana Floor Lamp is made of lacquered steel to emphasize its matchstick man look. The lampshade can be rotated like a real head, is made of metal-plated steel and protects the large ball-shaped bulb like a conical hat.
