The In The Sun Wall Lamp/Ceiling Lamp Ø 27cm was designed by Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost and Dominique Perrault for the brand DCW.
The urban designer and architect Perrault rose to fame and scooped various awards for designing this lamp and such significant establishments as an Olympic velodrome and the Bibliothèque Nationale de France. His project with Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost focusses on the decorative aspect of a lamp and how to welcome artificial or natural light.
The In The Sun Wall Lamp/Ceiling Lamp Ø 27cm is made of steel, glass, and aluminium and is available in three different finishes. Its sun-shaped diffuser, 11.8cm in diameter, is reflected in the aluminium disc measuring 17.3cm in depth and 27cm in diameter. This ceiling and wall lamp requires an E27 LED bulb with a maximum of 23W for optimal performance. Weighing 1.5kg, this luminaire is a real eye-catcher when installed in the ceiling as it evokes the solar emblem of the historical Sun King himself. Available in several colours, it can project sumptuous beams on the walls of your space in accordance with your preferences. It emits both filtered and direct illumination through the canopy.
