This miniFaridue soffitto Ceiling Lamp was designed by Mario Melocchi and Luta Bettonica in 1996 for the Italian manufacturerCini & Nils.
Originally established to produce homewares in 1969, Cini & Nils quickly shifted its focus to the creation of designer lighting solutions for homes and businesses. Success came quickly owing to the firm's innovative designs, technological excellence, and use of high-quality raw materials. Their first major landmark came in 1972 with the launch of the Cuboluce bedside lamp, which is shaped like a box and operated by opening the lid. Another key product which displays the firm's versatility is the Acqua suspension lamp, which delivers both direct and indirect lighting.
The highly versatile miniFaridue soffitto Ceiling Lamp comprises two separate modules which can be independently adjusted to shine in any direction. The lamp is made from die-casted metal alloy and measures 30.5cm in length, 9.5cm in width and 17cm in height. It features no transformer, and takes two 5.5 Watt LED bulbs. With its highly flexible functionality, the miniFaridue soffitto Ceiling Lamp can be effectively used as task and accent lighting in a wide range of settings including homes, shops, cafes, hotels and museums.
