Assolo LED Floor Lamp

The Assolo LED Floor Lamp was created by Luta Bettonica for the Milan-based lighting label Cini & Nils.

Founded by Franco Bettonica and Mario Melocchi in 1969, this Italian lighting label proved to be a standout success from the very beginning. Many of the first collections unveiled by the pair proved to be instant hits, with Bettonica's Cuboluce making waves in particular. This piece expressed the brand and its values incredibly clearly, demonstrating that functional lighting and inspiring interior design needn't be mutually exclusive. Today, the popular Italian label lives on under the direction of Luta Bettonica, Franco's daughter and student.

Following suit from the men who made this company so successful, Luta Bettonica has produced a truly inspiring piece of lighting with the Assolo LED Floor Lamp. As with every piece from her Assolo collection, this floor lamp sports a circular diffuser in contemporary white, with the timeless shape serving as an ideal complement to almost any interior. What makes this light so special is the precise positioning of the LED diodes themselves. Stretched along the inner side of the circle, the light produced pushes inwards, creating a spotlight effect that's instantly illuminating but never overpowering.
