The Special Edition CH24 Soft Armchair has been created by Hans J. Wegner for the brand Carl Hansen. Wegner's Wishbone Chair first appeared in 1950. Now, it has been brought back in a special edition which combines the classic woven seat design with matt finished elements. As a result, a sublime design has been made even more appealing.

The Special Edition CH24 Soft Armchair was initially nicknamed the 'Wishbone' due to its distinctive back shape. The back and legs of the chair are formed from sculpted beech wood and resemble wishbones in their curvature, adding an organic touch to interior spaces like dining rooms or studies. The seat is another standout aspect of the CH24. Each one has been hand woven from 120 metres of paper cord, creating a beautiful interplay of triangular shapes and a superbly comfortable place to spend time.

The key addition for the Special Edition CH24 Soft Armchair is the use of soft lacquers for the finish of the chair's frame. Various tones are available, including black, grey, white, red, and blue. In all cases, the chair measures 55cm wide and 51cm deep with a height of 76cm and a seat height of 45cm. The armrests are 70cm high, while the backrest is 76cm above the ground.
