Product description

The FK63 Shelving System 112x36x184.5cm has been created by Preben Juhl Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm for the brand Carl Hansen. FK63 takes its name from the surnames of its creators and is a stylish collection of interior furnishings that are inspired by classic Scandinavian design. This is a combination of shelving and cabinet space that would work well in almost any room of the home.

The FK63 Shelving System 112x36x184.5cm stands 184.5cm high and measures 112cm wide by 36cm. The unit has a pair of cabinets in the lower section, and both have discrete brass handles attached. Above that, the designers have added 8 additional open compartments, offering room for anything from books to ornaments and documents.

The shelving and sides of the FK63 Shelving System 112x36x184.5cm are made from solid oak with a veneer finish which retains the original texture. The wood used has been harvested from 100% FSC-certified forests, ensuring that the ecological footprint of the shelving system is as small as possible. The wooden elements of the FK63 Shelving System 112x36x184.5cm also rest upon a black powder coated steel frame, which supports the unit without intruding on the overall design.
