The Brionvega Collections
Brionvega is simultaneously both a designer and Italian electrical company. The company’s televisions and radios ensured its degree of prominence. Particularly striking is the industrial design of the collections, behind which, nevertheless, hides a large amount of functionality.
Radios by Brionvega
Brionvega was founded in 1945 in Milan under the name B.P.M. Among the founders were Giuseppe Brion and engineer Pajetta. Famous designers like Maio Bellini or Ettore Sottsass worked together with the manufacturer and produced collections. One of the most popular models is the Brionvega Radio. It is considered to be among cult radios and inspires today’s retro style. Whether as a clock radio or portable cube radio - Brionvega truly offers design for listening. The Brionvega Radiocubo.it TS 525 goes back to the design by Marco Zanuso and Richard Sapper. The design originates from 1964 and, with its optics, can still impress cult fans as well as the new generation even today. The bright colours give it a special design element. Highlight of this model: the carry handle made of aluminium, which makes the Brionvega Radio portable.
With just a simple use of the objects, all of the manufacturer’s models and collections impress immediately. Through a retractable rod antenna, the Brionvega Cubo or the Brionvega TS 522 radio are supplied with the best reception. Thus, the functionality of the design elements is preserved. With rounded corners, the models fit the styles of the 70s and bring a piece of history to the present day. Tuning and storing with the radio is not a problem. In addition, the manufacturer Brionvega impresses with other electrical appliances, which guarantee optimal functionality and to become a design element in different institutions.
