The Updown 32 LED Suspension Lamp has been created by Reto Schöpfer for the brand Belux. Updown is famous for a lighting system which can be instantly adjusted from direct to indirect illumination. When combined with a stylish minimalist exterior, the result is a pendant lamp that will enhance spaces and make it easy to conjure up exactly the right mood for every occasion.

The Updown 32 LED Suspension Lamp features two separate aluminium elements which run the length of the design and enclose a tubular bulb of the same length. These aluminium sections provide a shade which can be changed with a simple flick, adding direct or indirect light as desired. Various colours are available, including black, natural anodised aluminium, gold or olive. But all have the same iconic mechanism, providing maximum flexibility whether the lamp is used in offices or dining rooms.

The Updown 32 LED Suspension Lamp has a length of 156cm and measures 8.5cm high. It connects to the ceiling via an adjustable 200cm long suspension cable that links with a discreet 10.8cm diameter ceiling canopy. The whole unit weighs just 4.5kg and can be externally dimmed. It uses energy efficient bulbs to cast bright room-filling light or to create a muted, low key atmosphere.
