A338 Bilberry Suspension Lamp

The Artek A338 Bilberry pendant lamp was designed in 1950 by Alvar Aalto for his company Artek.

The little "Blueberry" is reminiscent of not only delicious small fruits but also to a hanging bird's nest. Bilberry provides a pleasant, diffused lighting through a small opening for the light. There is a ring with small holes in the upper part of the lamp body through which the light can shine.

In addition to its beautiful light the A338 Bilberry pendant lamp from Artek is also impressive visually: The small round body seems playful and stylish and hangs simply allowing the Bilberry pendant light to harmonize with any interior. The A338 Bilberry pendant lamp is not only suitable for private rooms, like the kitchen, dining room or nursery, but also gives cafes or bars a cool touch.

The body of the lamp is made from painted steel and its cable is made from white plastic.
