The Nest Wall Lamp was designed by Torsten Neeland for small but popular lighting brand Anta.
Born in Hamburg, Germany, Neeland studied Industrial Design at the College of Fine Art in Hamburg prior to setting up his own design office in London in 1997. Continuing to live and work in London, the designer specialises in contemporary industrial and interior design. Neeland's work is often cited as key examples of a complex design and production process underpinning a visually simple design and the successes of interdisciplinary thinking in lighting design.
The simple and elegant Nest Wall Lamp is the ideal way to highlight particular areas of the room, draw attention to artworks or enhance the space with ambient lighting. Featuring an uncomplicated, purist design with a circular shape stemming from a thin support bar, the lamp is discrete and compact. Whether placed individually or in a group, the lamp is a subtle way of enhancing any indoor room, including hallways and bedrooms. The white coated metal construction is durable and easy to keep clean, while the dimensions are 23.5 x 39 x 39 cm (L x W x H).
