The Type 75 Floor Lamp was designed by Sir Kenneth Grange for the brand Anglepoise.

Anglepoise is one of the great names in British design. Founded by George Carwardine, the company pioneered the use of hinges and metallic structures for professional desk lamps, offering users an unprecedented degree of flexibility. Type 75 is an update of the original concept, mobilising Grange's design skills to create a floor lamp that blends the past, present and future effortlessly.

The Type 75 Floor Lamp is one of the most impressive entries in the collection. This luminaire has a tall profile, reaching to 139.3cm. This means that it can be anchored on the floor to illuminate desks and workbenches, be placed behind armchairs, or be sited next to beds equally effectively. The Type 75 Floor Lamp is made from a blend of aluminium and cast iron, featuring a two-way hinge to cast light in the desired direction. It is capped by a 14cm wide fluted diffuser which directs light with laser-like accuracy. The lamp also features a cutting edge E27/6W LED bulb, reducing heat and energy consumption without compromising on brightness.
