The Alias Tec Table 100x100cm was designed by Alfredo Haberli for Italian furniture manufacturer Alias.
Haberli was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1964. He later moved to Switzerland and graduated with distinction in Industrial Design from the Höhere Schule für Gestaltung in Zurich in 1991. Today, Haberli is both critically acclaimed and commercially successful, while his work is exhibited at numerous exhibitions across Europe. The creative basis of Haberli's design is rooted in his experiences as a child that informed his emotionality, deep-seated expressive personality and intellectual curiosity as well as his knowledge of everyday life.
The Alias Tec Table 100x100cm showcases a subtle yet intriguing design with a slightly offset frame that creates the illusion that the table top is floating on its own. The table has been expertly fabricated in cutting-edge HPL, lacquered glass and aluminium to provide a finished product that is durable, lightweight and slim for a minimalist appearance. Standing at 73.5cm high, 100cm wide and 100cm long, the table provides a substantial table top area, ideal for use in offices as a work space and as a dining table at home. The neutral colour scheme works well with all styles of décor, lending a polished appearance to the room.
