The Dressed Cookie Jar was designed by Marcel Wanders for Italian homeware specialist Alessi.

This internationally renowned company is known for creating everyday items with the finest metals. The brand is the brainchild of Carlo Alessi, who started out working for his father in the family-owned metal workshop. By the 1940s, the creative designer had already produced several popular homeware series of his own. He inherited the company during the 1950s, and immediately brought designers from around the world on board. This respected brand now has a global reputation for its innovative use of metals to create essential household items that stand out.

The Dressed Cookie Jar is an elegant blend of stainless steel and glass. The metal lid is engraved with intricate motifs that give this product a look and feel all of its own. A small bell is fitted to the lid, so every time someone takes a cookie, it rings. Made with quality stainless steel and durable glass, the Dressed Cookie Jar is 15cm high and 19cm in diameter. Despite being made with metal and glass, however, the jar weighs only 0.3kg, which means it can be picked up and moved safely.
