The Eames Plastic Side Chair is Vitra's re-edition of the now legendary Eames Fiberglass Chair. It is based on the original 1948 design - the first industrially manufactured plastic chair. The organically-formed shell is connected to the metal frame using shock mounts, resulting in a comfortable seat even over long periods.
In addition we offer felt seat cushions in Ø 35cm, 5mm thick.
The DSW version has wooden legs (stained maple) and metal cross beams. Also available with eiffeltower legs (DSR) and as armchair (DAW). The DSW chair in white is on stock.
