Plissé Suspension Lamp

Inga Sempé designed the Plissé pendant lamp for the manufacturer Luceplan in the year 2007. The Design Plus Award it was presented with in 2008 made the exceptionally beautiful Plissé even more desirable.
Within this lamp the designer interpreted the old technique of pleating (folding fabric). Made of a polyester-aluminium texture it can be pulled out like an accordion, from 60 cm (approx. 2 ft.) up 5o 160 cm (approx. 5 ft. 3 in.), and adapts to any environment. Therefore it convinces not only with its fascinating look but also with its versatility and practical handling. Its illuminant gives off comfortable and even lighting. The Plissé design lamp is especially suited for hanging above extendable tables or a bar.
