The AJ SAS Royal table lamp is a special edition of the design classic from the 1960s by Arne Jacobsen for the Danish lamp manufacturer Louis Poulsen, created especially for the occasion of this style icon's 50-year-anniversary!
Originally this timeless design lamp was designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, for Jacobsen himself drafted not only the hotel's architectural layout, but every single detail of it: from textiles over cutlery to the interior decoration.
The AJ SAS Royal table lamp is distinguished by its uniquely asymmetric and pivoting shade. Its base with the characteristic opening contributes to the design's elegance and weightlessness. The AJ is a true modern classic with absolute design quality, that will never go out of style thanks to its timelessness.
