| Rigel Light |
 |
The Rigel Light designed by Carlotta de Bevilacqua for Artemide. It is a very unusual floor lamp that distinguishes itself by frontal emission of colored light, and an additional halogene light source for indirect white lighting installed on the upper surface. The colored light turns itself on as soon as a person enters the room thanks to the motion detector. The lamp turns into a mirror when the light is turned off. There are electrostatic air filters installed on the back side. Rigel Light is more than a lamp, it is a multi-functional object. It is delivered including illuminants, remote control, and touch screen. That way individual colored light atmospheres can be created within multiple possibilities of color combinations. The light intensity of the halogene illuminant is steplessly adjustable. |
