Caboche Floor Lamp

The trendy Caboche Terra floor lamp was designed by Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto or the manufacturer Foscarini in the year 2005. The light is projected directly downwards, diffused light is emitted throughout the room through a white, satined lampshade without blinding the onlooker. The Caboche Terra is made up of a circular shade studded with little transparent spheres and a diffuser made of matted white glass, that gives off downward direct lighting. Thanks to this specific arrangement the central illuminant's light is multiplied creating special light effects.
Because of the great success and popularity of the Caboche, the series was expanded with a second colour version: golden yellow. The light shining through this version gains a warm, amber-coloured shimmer. Both colour versions are available in two sizes: Caboche Media Ø 50 cm (approx. 1'8") and Caboche Grande Ø 70 cm (approx. 2'4").
