The Eames Plastic Side Chair is Vitra's re-edition of the now legendary Eames Fibreglass Chair. It is based on the original 1948 design - the first industrially manufactured plastic chair. The organically-formed shell is connected to the metal frame by using shock mounts, resulting in a comfortable seat even over long periods of sitting. In addition we offer felt seat cushions in Ø 35cm, 5mm thick. The DSR version has chromed Eiffeltower legs. Also available with wood legs (DSW) and as armchair (DAR). The DSR chair in red on stock.
