A folding, rolling table, whose fully exposed structure simultaneously communicates its function as an object and its ability to move, with a finely tuned sense of scale and quality. Battista is one of those everyday domestic objects that must be practical, compact and precise in its purpose. When opened even only half way, the 100 x 54cm surface is large enough to accommodate a variety of activities (as a sideboard or tray for one or two diners, a work surface, etc). When Battista's wings are folded, it occupies a minimal space, its elegance and function can still be easily recognized.
