Labayle worked for "Compagnie du Jouet", a well-known French toy manufacturer.
She is founder of the company "Labayle & Mitchell Sarl", creating and manufacturing furniture and exterior decorations for gardens and terraces.
Sophie Labayle is active as external employeer of the companies "Point a la ligne" (France) - a collection of candle holders and chandeliers; "Christian Tortu" (France) - interior decoration objects; "Takashimaya" (U.S.) and "Fermob" (France) - a collection of garden furniture.
She is also author of a number of luxury jewel collections.
For more than 15 years Labayle has held the position of the main external designer of the company "Le Cedre Rouge" (France) specializing in design of interior and garden furniture and high-class lighting fixtures, and creation of interior perfumes.
In 2006 Sophie Labayle presented in collaboration with FHB & FELUX Group a new collection of design furniture, lightings and accessories "Sofi-Sofi". This collection expresses a shared understanding between creativity, technical demands and common taste for perfect manufacture.
