Halogen lamps are
visually the most comparable to the incandescent light bulb, they
sport the familiar bulb shape and the typical base. However, halogen
lamps show two crucial differences compared to conventional light
bulbs: The glass body of the halogen lamp is always clear and the
common coiled filament was replaced by a halogen gas filled piston.
The light colour (light temperature, measured in Kelvin) of the
halogen is slightly whiter than the light colour of a regular light
bulb, which makes the colour brilliance higher.
Compared to the
conventional light bulb halogen lamps have a much higher energy
efficiency and an operating life twice as long. Halogen lamps with
screw base are mostly meant for a supply voltage of 230V, but also
for a supply voltage of 12V. Halogen lamps count as energy-saving
illuminant. Halogen lamps E27/E14 are available in every possible
wattage and shape (pear, candle, drop, spot), that match the
incandescent light bulb.
Just like the
conventional light bulb halogen lamps can be dimmed up to 100% with a
so called lamp dimmer. Simply replace your light bulbs with halogen
lamps and profit from the advantages! Discover halogen lamps with

plug-in base.
