Milk Table Lamp

The clever Milk table lamp was created in 2010 by the architect duo Norm (Kasper Rønn and Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen) for the manufacturer Unique Copenhagen. The Danish label has only recently chosen a new name and is no longer called Unique Copenhagen, but &Tradition (AndTradition). By changing its name, the company's goal is to put a greater focus on the combination of solid handicraft with modern design. Especially emphasized by the new name is Nordic tradition and high quality. &Tradition creates lasting design with sustainable modes of production: "We respect nature that provides our raw materials, so we salute the tree that grew the wood and the sand that blew the glass. But even tradition will find new roads. And we lead the way at &Tradition."
The Milk table lamp is a perfect example for modern, Nordic design awareness linked with a traditional choice of materials. The Milk lamp not only inspires certain associations with its name.
